egypturnashMan, I just have too many things in the air right now. I need to figure out how to streamline them.
- The Museum wants me back for some more hacking.
- I still need to order the furshlugginer glass for the stuff from the show that's being sold now, and get them out the door.
- I need to get another deck order out. (I also need to see if I can find somewhere to do the spraying indoors now that it's getting colder - Chris, is there any chance you could get me into the spray room at the school?)
- Me and Nick need to finish the damn cover letter for the deck and send it out. Once that's done I can pretty much close off deck orders, too.
- There's the spectre of going down to New Orleans for a couple months for a big paid project this winter; more on that later. I gotta get some details down. And do some experimenting beforehand with tools.
- There's another project I need to look at and decide yes or no on, too.
- There's a set of logos that have mostly-approved sketches and need to go through AI.
- And of course ABSINTHE. It's moving slowly but it IS moving again; I actually got to make a checkmark on chapter 1's progress chart yesterday.
And there's the fact that I committed to a second show next year in November. I know what I'm doing and it's nowhere near as all-encompassing as the Tarot deck - but it's still One More Thing On My Mind. I keep doodling vague spider ideas when, honestly, I already have enough in my sketchbook to choose from.
Even just trying to break some of these things down into smaller, easier-to-do steps makes my head hurt.
And I need to do a shit-ton of mundane tasks, too. My laundry pile has gone to hell. Mm. Hell, I'll just pull on whatever and start a load. It'll clear SOME of the physical clutter out and maybe that'll help. Maybe.
