So I went to get some hormones from my source for the last time. A goodbye.

And I dropped by Spümcø since I was out, and had a bus pass for the day (LA's bus system doesn't have transfers any more; you can ride one way, or buy a day pass for a little less than two rides). I officially came out around there, told them about my move, gave them the right contact information in case anything appears (or just to keep in touch), and grabbed one of the things I'd left lying around the office. A goodbye.

Then I went home. After cooling off some I went down to Renegade, where I'm going to be doing some freelance TV Flash work.

If not for the move I'd be starting this Monday; as is, I'll start a week from then. I ran into Shakeh, who's doing design work on the show - we went to animation school together. Talked a bit; another brief coming out.

A hello.

And one of the other freelancers they're bringing in for this turned out to be someone I know from Spümcø. Figures.

Also, aside from Ashley (one of the two heads of the company), I was the only woman in the room.

Renegade is about three or four blocks from the apartment I'm leaving. This was good because they needed two IDs for the employment forms and I only had my state ID on me; I was able to run back home and grab it with no problem. Ironic since I'm moving out. I'd be doing all the work over the net anyway, but it'd be nice to go discuss things face to face. Ah well.

The pay will be better than Spümcø and the show looks pretty easy. The duration's a little unsure - but I have other things in the pipeline anyway right now. If this only lasts a couple of months it'll be right on time to shift over to some of the pilots I've half-promised to help on; if it lasts many months I won't have cause to complain because, well, months of decent, easy work!

There's a few quirks in how they're doing it but I can manage. I mean, there's a few quirks with me. If I end up on staff for the next season I might question some of the quirks, but, eh. I'll deal.

Woo, work!

Also, Puzzlebox-y bus doodles.
