this mooncat intentionally left blank

I was having trouble getting started on today's first page of Absinthe pencilling. Nick came in from the kitchen, where he and Rik were, and asked me to see what would come out if I tried to draw the phrase 'This mooncat intentionally left blank". So I did.

The scan is deliberately not as crisped-up as it could be.



(Oh, and yes, I got to put an X on my Absinthe-drawing calendar last night. yay!)
