Yep, it's summer. I feel baked.

Went out for some cash from the ATM, then proceeded to spend it on hair dye (SE Blue Velvet - my birthday is next weekend; I will be taking a trip home, and I don't want my hair to be all fadey), some books at the sf/mystery used book store (LeGuin's Earthsea trilogy and an Iain Banks I didn't have), a new sketchbook (I really need to follow through on my intentions of learning how to make my own; the prices have crept up a buck), and some Diet Coke because I have to have my fizzy cold caffeine damnit.

I need to make a brief cool shower, then turn my hair blue!

Blue. "Blue Velvet". Hopefully it will look good. Also, I got sick and tired of having hair down to the middle of my scapulae, so I grabbed the same scissors I use to open up packages of pepperoni and whatnot and hacked off a couple inches; it's brushing my shoulders now. I shall have to get it properly cut sometime soon, but I decided to do a quick rough cut so as to not laboriously dye hair I'd just get rid of anyway.
