morning doodle
Aug. 26th, 2003 10:08 amI woke up at six in the morning and didn't feel like doing anything useful, so I did something for this week's Yerf Trading Post.

Turbo, let me know if you want the 150mb PSD (it's 600 dpi, so the lines didn't get lost) for... um... whatever. Printing or remixing or mocking my Photoshop skills.
Also, an explanation of one of the paintings in the BG is found in this snippet of AIM:
Peganthyrus: ...I wonder if there's any official rule that the TP character MUST be furry. Hmmmmmm.
Turbine: Dunno!
Turbine: My character is H R HALDEMAN, SECRETARY OF STATE FOR RICHARD NIXON
Peganthyrus: I'm sure people would protest and/or not participate, though.
Turbine: yep.
Peganthyrus: Because they're in the avoiding-humans-because-they're hard zone, probably.
Turbine: yep.
Turbine: The pain! :D
Turbine: Making people do a furry version of soome politician would be awesome. my character is Josef Stalin. Make him a bear. Background: It'S JOSEF STALIN!
Peganthyrus: *hand to forehead* Hyumans are ICKY! They're BORING! (They're also harder to draw correctly) They're IIICKY!
Peganthyrus: Kissinger.
Turbine: YES!
Peganthyrus: And all your reference images would be photos...
Turbine: Background: Henry Kissinger has the blackest heart in all of politics.

Date: 2003-08-26 11:16 am (UTC)A furry Henry Kissinger should, in my opinion, be a small German parakeet. A geek point to anyone who catches that particular reference. Yup.

Oh, and to the wonderful artist, thanks for reminding I'm running out of MY Ventolin. *grin* 'Cuz, you know, nothing brings on an asthma episode quite like knowing you're vulnerable to them.

Date: 2003-08-26 01:00 pm (UTC)It should also be noted that the particular mix being played is the one with the really, really annouing high-pitched whine through the whole track.

Date: 2003-08-26 06:01 pm (UTC)I think that's the same mix that's used for the video.
Ever seen the video? It's mostly elevators, ventilation thingies, and a Ventolin sprayer deploying in slo-mo.
Richard can be such a dick.
Yeah, I know, duh...
