The design she's standing in front of, or the sinuous supposed-to-be-a-railing that snakes behind her? Part of the creepiness in the big design element might be that it's the one intrusion of Flat Abstract Design into this otherwise dimensional piece - here she is, in this loosely-defined but deep space, stretching off to distant mountains, and there's this thing between her and the world that reminds you it's a drawing, that's this weird spirally repetitive Thing.
