A few people have vaguely mentioned some things they're doing with Google Wave they'd like my involvement in. I have access to it now so invite me to your waves-that-you-think-might-need-Peggy. I have no plans to start anything with it as I have enough collaborative projects at the moment that're managed quite well by existing methods - I feel like this is a sign of me getting old, somehow; I don't want to play with this new medium just for the sake of playing with it, I want to try and get existing things done with existing processes!

And on the subject of getting things done... I'm trying to make the studio habitable again, by getting a new heater this past weekend that will live in there permanently instead of drifting between rooms, and by finally catching up with the massive mound of laundry that's been lurking there for I don't know how long. I need more places to hang it when it's clean but whatever, at least it's one load away from being completely off the floor, finally. I feel like this has been a symptom of some depression churning under the surface, or maybe just part of a feedback loop; I feel a lot happier when I'm producing art regularly and having my studio a freezing mess makes that really hard.
I am hoping that moving to Seattle will have the immediate effect on my next winter of having us living somewhere with actual insulation, that we can afford to heat!
