Seeing this image (ROWR!) made me go find the high-res version of that Orangina commercial with the dirty furries (84m Quicktime). I had to dig through some Flash, and then unwind some Javascript, to get the link. Why on earth anyone wants to make it hard to find their commercial for spreading on the Internet, I haven't the faintest idea.

Anyway, if anyone needs me, I'll be over here with the scene with the octopus squeezing oranges against her tits until they spurt all over playing in an endless loop, masturbating furiously.

so most of the stories in "cthulhu sex" really did nothing for me. too lovecraft-turgid writing, too glib. one was nice and moody but it was very much a strangewarp mindfuck thing and i was hoping more for, you know, hot squishy tentacles invading orifices.

trying to sleep, fragments fluttered through my mind.

so i fired up bbedit on the laptop... this is a first draft. it needs tightening up, polishing of prose, a few better metaphors. i think i need to establish in the first sentence or three that both characters are women. i also need to give it proper capitalization. laptop laziness, yknow?

it's set at a concert because of [livejournal.com profile] protocat's entry tonight about a really good autechre gig. comments welcome, starting with whether or not it's the slightest bit sexy to anyone else, and if the Surprising Twist Ending actually parses without me being so blunt as to come right out and name the narrator for what she is...

also posting this makes me more likely to do more with it, instead of just leave it on the laptop forever.

Yesterday I went to visit Ashy. As always, we got less of our stated goal of hanging out and doodling done. I ended up staying overnight because it was cold and rainy.

When I got home, there was a package on my bed. My three contributor copies of Issue 20 of Cthulhu Sex magazine. And there, on page 66, was a nicely printed copy of "Incubus". Yay! Publication!

Also, some positive email back about a freelance possibility, so double yay!

I need to draw more. I haven't been, lately.

Unrelated geekery addition: I've been using Safari again lately. I missed Camino's type-ahead find and multiple options in the search box. Then I happened upon AcidSearch which adds both to Safari. I can go directly to Google Images from my browser again. yay!

Hey, music-types I know. Would you like to jam with dead pianists? I see a couple of Joplin's rags played by him in the first batch, for instance. There might be some similar gems in the other ones. Why have them play on naturalistic pianos, either?

Doctor Who continues to be cool (Julia brought over a copy of the second episode last night). It'll get better once the new companion's culture shock wears off; I found myself really hoping the tree-girl who was flirting with the Doctor would hop in the TARDIS at the end. Sadly, this was not to be. She was urbane, witty, and had a data-toy that talked back to her in birdsong - and there was a sort of sexual tension between her and the Doctor!

Also, this might be fun. Anyone?

cool!
