So yeah we went out for lunch and then we went to get some donuts at this place called Frost Donuts that does crazy gourmet stuff.

I drew on the box on the drive back.

omg Seattle just totally fucking kicked Boston's ass on the strength of this box of donuts alone I mean what's Snowy Bricktown got? Dunkin.

Seattle has better vegan donuts (Mighty O!) than Boston has any donuts, in general. (There are some good donuts in Rhode Island; I particularly remember Allie's, and there's probably something similar in the Boston area, but I never found it.)

I wish I could make you donuts, shatterstripes, but I can't. Or, I could, but Rax and I would eat them all before they got to you.

Ugh! Those look filthy! (In the porn sense, not the foot-fungus sense)
I'm glad I don't eat donuts. :)

Um, I think they taste better if you put them in the other end.

I'm afraid the drawing isn't my thing, but those donuts, good god, I'm salivating and suppressing the temptation to lick the screen. We are all going to die. But we'll be so happy.

Otoh, not saying it's not worth it, but how many multiples of (the price of a dozen sugar/fat/starch pods from Dunkin) did that cost?

Depends on the type hon -
There are Evolved and Non-Evolved doughnuts, which range between basically 1$ and $1.25 when you get a dozen ($12-$16) total. So I think that's about twice as costly in total, but the quality is well more than double, and the selection is fantastic and varies according to the day of the week. Plus, local business and all..
